摘要
从文化视角分析中医英语翻译,并以诠释学翻译观探讨中医英语翻译的特征,中医和西医在体系和用语上存在巨大差异,形成诸多文化障碍,中医翻译是一个更为复杂的视域融合过程,由于中医英语翻译的特殊性,阐释和解释成为其不可缺少的手段和特征之一,中医翻译的本质是跨文化阐释。
The paper analyzed and discussed the features of English translation of Chinese medicine from cultural perspective and translation concept of hermeneutics.There is a huge difference in system and wording between Chinese medicine and Western medicine forming a lot of cultural barriers.The English translation of Chinese medicine is a more complicated process of fusion of horizons.Because of its particularity,the explanation and interpretation are indispensable approaches and characteristics in English translation of Chinese medicine.Translation of Chinese medicine is,in essence,an intercultural interpretation.
