基于FPGA的全景图像展开算法实现

摘要 全景图像柱面展开理论算法占用系统资源较大,不适合在资源有限的嵌入式系统上实现,所以改善算法,设计一种基于嵌入式系统的算法有一定的现实意义.文中以柱面展开算法为理论依据,设计一种能在FPGA上实现的快速柱面展开算法.采用Matlab验证算法的可行性,然后采用硬件描述语言编写硬件模块,模块通过ModelSim仿真后,最终在硬件平台上实现FPGA对全景图像的快速柱面展开算法. Theoretical cylindrical unwrapping algorithm for omni-directional image costs a larger system resource, and is not suitable for embedded systems with limited resources~ So it is significant to improve and design the algorithm based on embedded systems, In this paper, according to the theory of cylindrical unwrapping algorithm, a fast cylindrical unwrapping algorithm based on the FPGA is designed. The feasibility of the algorithm is verified with the software Matlab, and then hardware module is designed with hardware description languages. After simulation through the ModelSim, the improved algorithm for omni-directional image is achieved on the FPGA hardware platform.
