骨质疏松症和骨性关节炎是骨骼肌肉常见的2种疾病,均具有较高的致残率与致死率。这2种疾病均好发于中老年人,尤其是绝经后妇女。发病率与年龄呈正相关。目前国内外医学界对它们之间的关系持不同的观点。本文从流行病学、发病机制和治疗的角度对两者的关系进行探讨。

Osteoporosis and osteoarthritis are common in musculoskeletal disease, which induce high morbidities and mortalities. They are widely prevalent in aging population, especially in postmenopausal women, and incidence of them is positively related to age. However, the relationship of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis is not clear. At present, views vary from different specialists. The purpose of the review will discuss the relationship between osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in epidemiology survey, pathogenesis and pharmacotherapy.
