楚式镇墓兽研究

Study on the Tomb Guardians of Chu

本文主要介绍了目前楚式镇墓兽的研究情况。根据目前可见的考古发掘资料,作者考察了335座镇墓兽的具体情况,并从时间差异、地区差异、等级差异三个方面进行了研究,初步分析了出现这种变化的原因。文章分析了鹿角、头身、底座三个基本部分的内涵和意义,认为随葬镇墓兽是用来镇墓辟邪,它就是楚人崇拜的驱蛇辟邪的镇墓之神。

This article mainly introduces the present research situation of Chu＇s tomb guardians.According to the obvious archaeology excavation materials,the author inspectes special details of 335 tomb guardians.From three aspects： the time difference,the regional disparity,the rank difference,the author has carried on the research,and presentes the preliminary reasons to these kinds of changes.The article analyzes the connotation and significance of the three major components： antler;head and body;pedestal.The author thinks that tomb guardians are buried as funerary objects,and are used to exorcise evil spirits and protect the grave.They are Chu people＇s worships gods which drive the snakes and exorcises evil spirits.
