Research on the Application of Patent Portfolio in Company Technology Evaluation

在分析专利组合理论及其主要功能的基础上,提出专利组合分析的新指标,即技术规模、相对技术优势和相对技术融合能力。并将新指标用于基于技术领域的专利组合分析中,对硅基液晶领域的主要企业进行技术评价,表明了专利组合是企业技术评价中非常有效的工具。

Based on the study of the theory of patent portfolio and its functions,this paper develops three new indicators,including technology scale,relative technology advantage,and relative technology integration capability.And then the new indicators are applied in the patent portfolio at the technological level to assess company＇s technologies in the field of Liquid Crystal on Silicon,which demonstrates that patent portfolio is a very effective tool in company＇s technologies evaluation.
