E-government information classification system based on Business Reference Model is a type of classification system guided by duty and function of government.The background,structure,and management of FEA Business Reference Model are analyzed.Extended use of FEA Business Model in U.S.Department of Interior is also introduced.The enlightenment and reference of FEA Business Reference Model on building the classification system of government information resources to solve existing problems of our classification system of government information resources are discussed.
