摘要
绿色无线通信是全球经济低碳化的一个重要组成部分,日益受到关注。针对绿色无线通信发展需求,侧重功率效率,从系统体系构架角度,提出了业务驱动的新型网络结构。通过采用基于信令控制的逻辑重构式通信,利用基站与终端之间的信令链路,将当前业务的请求、延迟容忍特性以及终端位置等信息传递给基站以实现无线网络的逻辑重构。分析和仿真结果表明:该新型网络基站能耗与传统基于基站中转的蜂窝网络相比,可降低约40%。
Green wireless communications are attracting much attention today as an essential element of the global trend towards low-carbon economies.A service-driven,power efficient network architecture was developed for short distance communications for green wireless communication systems.A signaling-based logical network topology reconfiguration algorithm using the signaling link between the base station and the terminal to deliver requirement,delay-tolerant,as well as position information of the mobile stations to the base station,was used to achieve network reconfiguration.Analyses and simulations show that,compared with traditional base station bypassing transmissions,the service-driven short-range communication system reduces the base station power consumption by about 40%.
