The problem of the shortest distance between lines on different planes is an important content in space analytic geometry. It is ana- lyzed. The shortest distance between lines on different planes is determined. Two kinds of diagram methods are proposed to solve the problem. And specific diagram principles and drawing steps of diagram methods are given. Compared with substitution method and revolution method in the geometry study,the spatial analysis and diagram principles are easier to understand;and the diagram methods is more simple and intuitive, with graphic results more accurate.
