当代中国佛教寺庙建筑的设计思考——以台湾中台禅寺和法封山为例

Design Consideration of Chinese Contemporary Buddhist Temple Architecture:Taking Chungtai chan Monastery and Dharma Drum Mountain in Taiwan as an Example

当代佛教寺庙建筑如何既体现佛教精神,又具有时代特征?该文选择当代寺庙的两个典型案例,与传统寺庙形式相比较,分析当代寺庙建筑如何进行设计创新。论文以当代文化视角,阐述了传统寺庙建筑的格局与不足,通过台湾中台禅寺和法鼓山案例,探讨了当代寺庙建筑设计在三方面的变化:一是建筑功能上,使用空间的调整;二是建筑形式上,对时代的回应;三是全球化背景下,地域性和节能环保理念在建筑规划上的体现。

For the contemporary Buddhist temples, how to express the spirit of Buddhism and the characteristics of times ？ The paper selects two typical cases of contemporary temples, comparing with the forms of traditional temples, and analyzes how to innovate the contemporary temples. From the perspective of contemporary culture, it describes the patterns and deficiencies of the traditional Buddhist temples by taking two cases on the Chung Tai Chan Monastery and Dharma Drum Mountain in Toiwan, it also discusses the design of contemporary temples from the following three aspects： Firstly, on the construction function, it makes the adjustment and increasing the use of space; Secondly, on the building form, it makes the response of the times in order to accord with the needs of contemporary aesthetic and technological development; Thirdly, in the background of globalization, it reflects the concept of regional, energy conservation and environmental protection in the building environment planning.
