To cultivate students＇ core occupational competencies is an important issue to many colleges and universities in China.This article expounds the contents of cultivating core occupational competencies of students in higher vocational colleges,analyzes the current situation of core occupational competencies of students and proposes five effective approaches to promote the competencies.
