Of all ages,hydrophile is a sort of human nature.People prefer to live in the place where it adjoins to water.Nowadays,in modern society,waterfront area that enjoys exceptional advantages of environment becomes an ideal habitat,and the exploitation of waterfront residential area comes into vogue.Actually,waterfront is one of the active districts in a city which owns various characters in nature,history,culture and economic.This article illustrates from the current situation of domestic waterfront to the mode of exploitation both at home and abroad,ultimately draws conclusion and provides suggestion to the construction of waterfront residential area.
