On the Construction of College English Grammar Competence

大学英语语法能力是培养大学生实际应用英语能力的保障和前提，本文从教学的角度分析了当前我国大学英语语法教学的现状及成因后，用皮亚杰的建构理论探讨了语法能力的建构原理，认为语法能力是在语言实践中通过同化和顺化作用不断建构起来的，并探讨了皮亚杰的建构理论对大学英语语法能力建构的适用性及语法能力建构的主要途径。

College English grammar competence is vital to college students＇ practical application of English. On the basis of an analysis of the current college English grammar teaching, the paper probes into the construction of grammar competence by using Piaget＇s constructivism, and points out that the competence is continuously constructed by way of assimilation and accommodation in the language practice. Then the applicability of Piaget＇s constructivism to the construction of college English grammar competence and its construction ways are discussed.
