马克思主义城市理论通过分析资本主义制度下的工业、农业、城市之间的关系,深刻地揭示了资本主义生产力布局的不平衡性及"工厂城市"的不合理性,对于正处在工业化与城市化关键期的中国,马克思主义城市理论仍不失其重要价值。如今中国的城市化发展战略日益成熟,一些发达地区也根据实际提出了发展小城市的战略部署。本文拟根据马克思主义城市理论的基本原理与社会主义城市发展的实践,对小城市发展战略作一番理论上的梳理,以求裨益于当代中国的小城市建设。

Marxist urban theory profoundly revealed the capitalist imbalance in the distribution of productive forces and irrationality of ＂factory city＂ by analyzing the capitalist relationships between industry,agriculture and urban.Marxist urban theory is of the significant value for now,especially at the critical period of industrialization and urbanization in China.Now,China urbanization development strategy mature increasingly,and some developed regions proposed a strategic plan for the development of small cities actually..This article in accordance with Marxist urban theory and with the socialist urban development proposed a theoretical system,in order to benefit the contemporary China＇s construction of small city.
