美国高校的语言与文化跨学科教育——以伯克利为例

Cross-disciplinary Language and Culture Education in American Universities

在考察分析跨学科教育模式的基础上,文章进一步考察了美国高校的语言与文化领域,对其"应用语言研究"和"文化课程系列"所采用的项目主导型整合方式加以分析,指出其跨学科特点主要表现在课程体系设置上的学科宽度和层级跨度、学科资源整合上的联合与开放性、课程导向上的理论方法应用视野和专业领域视角下的文化主线意识。这些跨学科教育方式可为中国高校的相应学科建构和文化课程建设提供借鉴。

Based on our study of the cross-disciplinary education model in American universities,this paper further investigates its features of language study and culture education.Through an analysis of its ＂applied language studies＂ and ＂American Culture Courses＂,these two program-oriented fields have some typical features： 1） disciplinary and educational breadth in the curriculum;2） cooperation and openness in the courses and programs;3） addition of theoretical elements in applied studies;4） a combination of speciality elements into the culture courses.All these features may tend to be of significance in our relevant cross-disciplinary construction.
