On the Local Characteristics of Nursery Rhymes in Chaozhou and Shantou Region

潮汕童谣是潮汕文化的重要组成部分。潮汕童谣历史悠久,它保留着大量古汉语词汇和音韵,对古汉语研究具有重要价值;它反映的靠海吃海、出洋过番、敬神事鬼等充满海洋气息的民俗风情,彰显着潮汕独特的地域色彩,蕴含着深厚的地域文化。

Chaozhou and Shantou nursery rhymes are an important part of the culture of the region. They have a long history and retain a large number of ancient Chinese words and phonological elements and are thus of great value to the study of ancient Chinese. They also reflect the ocean culture, venturing overseas and the worship of gods and spirits characterizing the region.
