广西高校应用型人才英语技能培养研究——基于北部湾经济区开放开发战略

Research on the English Skills Cultivation of Applied Talents in Guangxi Colleges and Universities:Based on the Opening and Development Strategy of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone

2008年国务院批准实施《广西北部湾经济区发展规划》,标志着广西北部湾经济区开放开发正式纳入国家的发展战略,将被建设成为重要的国际区域经济合作区。随着国际贸易合作的日益增多,北部湾经济区需要大批英语水平高的的应用型人才。而目前广西高校在应用型人才英语技能培养方面存在着偏差,需在课程设置、教学模式、教学方法、师资建设、学生实践训练等方面采取相应的对策,以提高应用型人才的英语综合应用能力,更好地为北部湾经济区开放开发服务。

In 2008, ＂Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Development Plan＂ was ratified by the State Council,which marks the opening and development of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone is incorporated into the state strategy, it will be built into an important international economic cooperation zones. With the increasing of international trade cooperation, Beibu Gulf Econcanie Zone needs a large number of applied talents with high English level. But at present, there are some deviations from developing English skills of applied talents in Guangxi Colleges and Universities. In order to improve comprehensive English proficiency of applied talents and serve the development of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone better, some appropriate measures should be taken in aspects of currieullum design, teaching modes , teaching methods, teachers＇ quality and students＇ practical training.
