This study probes into the construction of a high - quality Intemet - based radio outside broadcast system with regards to the characteristics of live broadcast. It discusses the key issues such as audio hardware, software coding features, the transmission delays resulting from the I/O bottlenecks between the physical network and the Intemet, and the transmission congestions in audio data streaming, etc.
