试论素质教育中的教师素质

On Teachers' Qualities Required in Quality-oriented Education

摘要 素质教育是教育者基于个体发展和社会发展的需要,利用各种有利条件与有效途径,以适当的方法引导全体受教育者积极主动地最大限度地开发自身的潜能,提高自身的整体素质,并实现个性充分而自由发展的教育。素质教育已成为我国新世纪基础教育改革的主旋律。新课程改革成败的关键在于教师的素质,因此,教师自身素质培养的重要性在当前基础教育改革中就越发凸显出来。 Quality-oriented education is the education where the educators, based on individual needs and social development, use a variety of favorable conditions and effective ways to guide all the educated in an appropriate way to develop and maximize their own potential, improve their overall quality and achieve full development of individual personalities. Quality-oriented education has become the main theme of the reform of basic education in China in the new century. High-quality teachers are the key to the success of new curriculum reform; therefore, the importance of enhancing teachers' own quality during the reform is highlighted.
