Synthesis and Characterization of Star-Shaped Nylon 12 with High Flowability

摘要 在均苯三甲酸的存在下,进行十二内酰胺的水解聚合,合成了四种不同臂长的三臂星型尼龙12,对产物的分子量进行了测定,并对其力学性能和流变行为进行了研究。结果表明,星型尼龙12的分子量随着均苯三甲酸含量的提高而降低,与相应分子量的线型尼龙12相比,星型尼龙12的拉伸强度和弯曲强度基本保持,冲击强度保持率在80%以上,断裂伸长率最大降低了25%,相对黏度降低了17%,熔融指数提高了近15倍,平衡转矩减小了近92%,表现出较好的流动性。 Four kinds of star-shaped nylon 12 samples with different branched-chain length were prepared by the hydrolytic polymerization of laurolactam using trimesinic acid as trifunctional reactant.The molecular weight of products was determined by end group titration,the mechanical properties and rheological behavior were also investigated.Compared with linear-chain nylon 12 with comparable molecular weight,the tensile strength and bending strength of star-shaped nylon 12 can be maintained,impact strength retention is over 80%,elongation at break decreases by 25% maximumly,relative viscosity reduces 17%,melting index increases nearly 15 times,balance torque reduces almost 92%.The prepared star-shaped nylon 12 presents good flowability.
