The Origin of Wood-block,"Masha" Edition and Book Collectors——Some ponderation on Chinese Philology written by Zhang Shunhui

研究张舜徽先生在《中国文献学》中所涉的雕版渊源、对麻沙本和藏书家的评价,对此进行思辩,指出它对雕版印刷渊源认识的简单化,对麻沙本品质评价的以偏概全,以及对大官僚、大地主藏书家学问水平的低估,对纠正中国文献学方面的一些错误是必要的。

This paper pondered the origin of wood-block and the appraisal about ＂Masha＂ edition and book collectors which is involved in Chinese Philology written by Mr.Zhang Shunhui,pointing that the understanding of wood-block printing＇ origin is simplified,＂Masha＂ edition is appraised partially,and the knowledge level of large bureaucracy and the book-collected landlord is underrated,the discussion all above is in order to correct some misunderstanding about Chinese Philology.
