As a compulsory common course for an International Trade major,Integrated Skills of English aims to cultivate students＇ comprehensive ability to use the language,prepare them for language proficiency tests and pave the way for their future study of specialized English and other bi-lingual courses.The network teaching platform,which provides rich and varied language learning materials,communication channels unrestricted by time and place,helps greatly to foster students＇ self-learning ability and serves as a significant supplement of classroom teaching.The web-based teaching system will to a large extent help to boost the realization of these goals.
