摘要墨西哥湾溢油事故造成重大损失,钻井平台责任限制问题日显突出。移动式钻井平台可以解释为海商法意义的船舶,应赋予其享有油污损害赔偿责任限制的权利,且以"事故制"的计算方法解决责任限额问题。 Mexico Gulf oil spilling caused extensive damage and the issue of limitation of liability of offshore drilling platforms becomes increasingly serious. According to Marine merchant law, mobile offshore drilling platforms can be classified as ships, and they should have the rights to enjoy limitation of liability for oil pollution. Besides, the accident processing system is suggested as a suitable solution to calculate the monetary limit of liability.
