摘要
阐述了模糊语产生的根源,介绍其主要表现形式,并结合英语报刊实例和报刊英语文体特点,探讨了模糊语在新闻语篇中贴近客观事实、留下回旋余地、增强情感意义等语用功能,进而指出其对提高学生听力理解能力的重要意义。
This article introduces the main forms and basic features of fuzzy language,explores the reasons for its existence and analyzes its pragmatic functions in English news discourse,and demonstrates the important roal of fuzzy language in improving the students＇ listening ability.
