Objective:To investigate the prevalence of Coxiella burnetii in ticks from France.Methods:456 ticks samples were collected from tiques in New Caledonia of France. The RNA of pathogens were extracted from the tick samples.16SrRNA was the targeted gene. Then real-time PCR was used to analyse the genes.Results:334 samples were positive in the 456 samples. The positive rate was 73.2%.There are no positive in 2 tiques. There are 163,171 positive samples in Rhipicephalus sanguiners and Dermacentor Marginatus respectively. Conclusion:The prevalence of Coxiella burnetii in French ticks was very high. The positive rates were different in different ticks.
