英汉习语特点及其文化差异的对比研究

习语是语言中文化内涵积淀最深厚的部分,是语言的核心和精华。英汉两种语言历史悠久,内容丰富多彩,都拥有大量习语,承载着各自独特的文化内涵。它好比一面镜子,能清楚地反映出一个民族文化的特色。习语作为一种特殊的语言形式,具有与一般语言形式不同的特点。本文运用文化对比的方法,首先探讨英汉习语在语音、语义、结构等方面所具有的特点,然后进一步分析了英汉习语在地理环境、风俗习惯、宗教信仰、文化背景和价值观念等方面存在的差异。

Idioms contain unique cultural elements of different languages during the process of historical development.It is from the unique cultural elements of a language that we can find out the origins of the idioms.This paper,adopting a contrastive approach,is to put forward the distinctive characteristics of both English and Chinese idioms and to make an analysis of their cultural discrepancies in terms of geography,custom,religious beliefs and culture.
