Loop is one of the indispensable important equipments in the continuous annealing line and tension control of the loop is the critical important technology in the automatic control system of the continuous annealing line.The present paper introduces the principal processes and equipments of the continuous annealing line as well as the role and features of the loop in the continuous annealing line and analyzes in detail several control strategies commonly adopted and compares with each and another the advantages and disadvantages and in the end analyzes how to choose the specific control strategy in the practical production.
