与众多近现代朝鲜移民作家不同,朴启周是在中国出生、长大,并走上了文学之路的移民第二代作家。1940年前后,回到韩国之后的朴启周陆续创作出多部以自身移民生活体验为题材的移民小说作品。这些作品不仅真实地反映了当时东北地区朝鲜移民生活状况,更重要的是作者在文中频频提起身份认同问题,阐述、寻找和确认自己的"身份"。对于生于斯长于斯的朴启周来讲,更多地表现出移民者的身份认同。

Being different from many other modern Korean emigrant writers,Park Kye-Ju is the second generation of emigrant writer,who was born in China,grew up in China,and also embarked on the road of literature in China.In 1940,Park Kye-Ju returned to the Republic of Korea,and then,he started to create more emigrant novels,the theme of which was his own emigrant experience.These works were not only truly reflect the living conditions of Korean emigrants in the Northeast of China,more importantly,the writer frequently mentioned the identity problem in the text,explained,found and confirmed his own'identity'.As being a native here,Park Kye-Ju expressed more about the emigrant identity.
