新一轮基础教育课程改革(简称"新课改")正在全面贯彻实施,其成败的关键在于教师。中学政治教师除承担政治课程教学任务外,还扮演着中学生德育工作者的角色,他们应更加注重人文关怀,更加注重角色的转换,更加注重生活和实践,并做到育人与自育并举,从教育观念、政治立场、职业道德、教学技能、知识结构和身心素质等方面加强自身素质修养,确保"教书"、"育人"双重任务的顺利完成。

New basic education curriculum reform（the ＂New Curriculum＂） is fully implemented,and the key to success lies in teachers.Secondary school teachers in addition to political commitment to the political task of teaching,but also the actor＇s role of moral education students,they should pay more attention to human care,pay more attention to the role of the conversion,pay more attention to life and practice,and educating people to do simultaneously and self-education.From the conception of education,political,professional ethics,teaching skills,knowledge structure and physical and mental qualities to strengthen their quality training to ensure that ＂teaching＂,＂education＂ dual task is successfully completed.
