Comparison of pathophysiology textbooks between China and the United States

摘要 教材建设是培养高素质优秀人才的重要保障。北京大学医学部生理学与病理生理学系选取具有代表性的美国基础医学课程教材Pathophysiology:thebiologicbasisfordiseaseinadultsandchildren和国内病理生理学教材进行比较,从基本框架结构、内容选择和编排、图表应用及与临床关联等方面分析了各自的特点,为促进我国病理生理学课程建设和教学内容的改革,特别是为提高教材建设水平提供了参考。 Textbook construction is an important aspect of practice on teaching reform and bringing up excellent talents. The pathophysiology textbooks used in higher medical education was compared between China and the United States. Pathophysiology : the biologic basis for disease in adults and children was chosen as the major representative of the United States. The overall framework, the selection and arrangement of the contents, the application of tables and pictures, and the relationship between basic medicin and clinical medicine were discussed. Hopefully, it would provide some reference for reform in specialized course system and teaching contents of pathophysiology, especially for improving the constructive quality of textbooks in the future.
