A Research on Co-Construction Mode of Characteristic Databases Based on Consortium

基于吉林省各类型图书馆建设特色数据库的现状,依托吉林省图书馆联盟构建区域性图书馆特色数据库共建协作组织既有必要性又有可行性。在协作组的统一协调下,探索合理的特色数据库建设模式,研究和布置数据库建设选题,选择数据库建设平台,制定数据库评估标准及搭建数据库服务平台,有利于提高吉林省数字资源建设的总体水平。

Based on the current problems of characteristic databases of both academic and public libraries in Jilin Province, the authors discuss the necessity and feasibility of establishing an association to support the co-construction of the characteristic databases with the backing of the Consortium of Libraries in Jilin. The paper analyzes the construction mode of characteristic databases, and discusses on how to choose the subject selections and supporting platforms, how to establish the assessment standards and build the service platforms of characteristic databases, aiming at improving the whole level of the characteristic databases in the Province.
