Knowledge management as a brand-new management idea and method becomes more and more important to the development of society and has good enlightenment to archives managment. This article illustrates the meaning of knowledge management,the reason of origination and new features, and then deeply analyzes the current status of archives management and existing problems. Based on all above, it puts forward the enligtenments of knowledge management to archives management under under the condition of information technology.
