Vladmir Nabokov not only tells a controversial story in Lolita, but also conveys his views upon literary creation through many metaphors which he called the nerves, secret points and coordinates of the novel. A close reading of these metaphors provides us with a proper approach to the entry into Nabokov＇s artistic world, the understanding of Lolita and Nabokov as well as the experience of the ＂aesthetic bliss＂ which Nabokov strives to bring to his readers.
