摘要
IT与业务匹配(BIA)能创造更高的组织绩效,如何取得BIA成为信息系统理论与实践的热点研究问题之一。本文将BIA的静态研究和动态研究相结合,构建多主体交互的BIA博弈模型,并基于社会网络进行多主体仿真,探讨不同的社会网络结构对总体匹配的影响。试验结果显示:由规则格子到小世界以及随机网络,提升了匹配成本对总体匹配的阈值,策略演化过程是造成总体匹配和总体不匹配分化的一个关键原因。针对该结果的讨论,从社会网络多主体仿真视角提出了ERP实施等企业信息化过程中BIA关键因素的动态分析框架,深化了BIA领域的复杂动态研究,有助于学术界和企业界对BIA自然本质的认识和理解。
Business-IT alignment(BIA) has been one of the top concerns of practitioners and scholars for decades because it enables organizations to improve their business performance.Although numerous studies concerned on how to accomplish BIA look alignment as an end state or as an ongoing process,multiagent simulation based on complex adaptive system is still rarely discussed in the existing literatures.This paper attempts to fulfill this gap by designing and simulating a comprehensive BIA game model to discuss how the different network structures influence the whole alignment.Drawing on prior literature,the coordination and communication between IT and business managers are identified as critical success factors for BIA.Regarding the IT and business units or individuals as rational agents in view of game theory,a BIA game model is established.Using multiagent simulation methodology based on the social network,the results show: the threshold of alignment cost for the whole alignment increases from regular lattice to small world and then to random network.Moreover,strategic evolution process is one of key reasons for the difference between whole alignment and whole misalignment.Overall,the main contribution of this study is a dynamic analysis framework of BIA key factors proposed from the perspective of multi-agent simulation in social network,which provides a more ample prescriptive insight to understand complex dynamic and emergent nature of alignment for practitioners and scholars in IS fields.
