"科学"范畴所蕴含的工具理性和价值理性启示我们,作为对科学发展之根本特征的"科学性"的理解需要从真善美三个方面入手。真、善、美分别代表着科学发展的三大方面,它们是集科学发展的规律性或必然性、功利性或目的性、观赏性或情感性于一体的基本要素。一种发展,只有具备了真善美的要素或属性,才能属于科学的发展。

The instrumental and value rationality contained in the concept of 'science' indicates to us that we need to understand the 'scientificity' from three aspects:truth,goodness and aesthetics.The scientificity is the essential character of scientific development.The truth,goodness and asethetics not only represent three aspects of scientific development,but also are the basic elements combining the laws or necessities,utility or purpose,ornament or sensibility together.Only when the deveopment contains the elements or attributes of the truth,goodness and asethetics,can it belong to the scientific development.
