How Far Can Normal University Students Go with Free Education?

我国从2007年开始在教育部直属师范大学实行师范生免费教育制度。师范生免费教育,给广大贫困家庭的学生带来了希望和动力。但师范生免费教育政策也存在实施范围过窄,质量保障机制和激励机制不健全,服务期限太长,管理制度不完善,与教师教育开放化的趋势不协调等方面的问题。

In 2007,Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has stated in the government work report that free education will be provided for the students in normal universities directly under the ministry of Education.This suggests that the free educational system for normal students in modern China has instituted for a long time will return to university campus.Free education for normal students brings hope and power for many poor families.Nevertheless,it has argued that the free education policy for normal university students is limited to implementation scope and with along service term,lack of quality assurance mechanism and incentive mechanism and management system,inconsistent with the opening teacher education trend as well.
