摘要
隐喻不仅仅是一种语言现象,更是人类思维的一种方式。爱情作为一个抽象概念,更是一种人类基本的美好的情感,常常借助隐喻来表达。本文分析了英汉"爱情"隐喻的不同点及其成因,最后得出英汉"爱情"隐喻的差异是由人类的生活环境与生产方式、以及宗教信仰与文化差异所决定的。
Conceptual metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon but also a way of thinking.Love,an abstract concept,is a common and prolific feeling of human beings.To explain itfully,metaphor is the best way.This paper focuses on the analysis of the differences of love metaphor and that of the causes.The main causes lie in living surroundings,religious belief and cultural diversities.
