Community Education: Effective Approaches for New Rural Laborers Integrating into City

新生代农民工的社会流动与第一代农民工相比,有较为显著的差别,呈现出新的特点。"新生代农民工"在城市融入过程中面临户籍制度、就业困难、社会交往、身份认同等诸多困境。而社区教育,因其收费低、全员性、开放性和灵活性等特色,成为最适合新生代农民工的教育形式。在推进新生代农民工城市融入方面,社区教育在消除制度壁垒、经济阻碍、社会隔阂与心理自我排斥等方面,具有积极的推动作用。

Compared with the first generation rural laborers,the new generation rural laborers have new characteristics.They are confronting with various problems in urbanization in the aspects of census registration system,employment,social communication and identity recognition.Because of its characteristics of low tuition,facing to all,openness and flexibility,community education is the education mode most adaptive to new generation rural laborers,and its positive roles mainly manifest in the aspects of eliminating system obstacle,economic block,social estrangement and self-exclusion,etc.
