摘要《奴役》、《与众不同》和《奇异的插曲》三部剧作是尤金·奥尼尔书写"变化"主题的代表性作品。围绕书、读者和作者,他描画出一个在现代化进程中激剧变化的美国和一群被外力不断推动向前并为巨变付出巨大代价的人们。 Servitude, Diffrent , and Strange Interlude typify the theme of change in O＇Neill＇s plays Focusing on books as well as on readers and writers, he depicts a drastically changing America in the process of modernization and its people who fall victim to drastic changes, being relentlessly pushed forward by outside forces.
