The traditional newspaper industry is experiencing a painful reform and exploration to seek a new profit modal and survival way. Based on the survey of journalism in New York and other four cities in USA, the crisis, strategies and development trends of traditional newspaper industry in United States were deeply analyzed. And some inspirations and references were provided combined with Shanghai′s current situation.
