目前,鬼谷子隐居授徒之地众说纷纭,莫衷一是,但信史《史记》告诉我们,鬼谷子隐忧授徒之地在齐国。今之山东境内与鬼谷子相联系的地方有三处,从历代方志考证、遗迹遗存、民间传说等方面考证,鬼谷子隐居授徒之地在淄博的梓橦山最为可信。

Presently,versions concerning with the locale where Guiguzi lived in seclusion and instructed his followers vary on statements and no decision can be reached.However,as faithful historical account,Shi Ji tells people that Guiguzi lived and instructed in Qi State.Nowadays,there are three places associated with Guigizi in Shandong province;among which,textually researching by successive local textual criticism,remains and aspects from past dynasties,and folk tales of Guiguzi,Mount Zitong site in Zibo City is the most credible place that Guiguzi lived in seclusion and instructed students.
