艺术类院校的公共课英语教学存在着教学内容偏难、学生主体地位没有充分发挥等问题,使得艺术类大学生英语学习面临着极大的困难。为了提高艺术院校英语教学质量,就要采取选择适合艺术类学生特点的英语教学内容,利用现代信息技术把课堂教学扩展到四十五分钟以外,努力实现英语教学方式的改革等基本策略。

There are some problems existing in the public English teaching in arts academy.For example,the teaching contents tend to be too difficult for the students to learn and the students＇ subjectivity has been developed to the full.To improve the teaching quality,we should choose the suitable teaching contents and reform teaching methods to expand the English class beyond 45 minutes by use of modern information technology.
