丢包感知的线性编码在无线Mesh网络中的应用

Application of Loss-Aware Linear Network Coding in Wireless Mesh Networks

摘要 采用网络编码提高无线Mesh网络的吞吐量已成为目前研究的热点。文献[1]中,作者提出了一种在无线Mesh网络中采用网络编码的MAC层先验式混合协议,它采用异或编码的算法,这种算法在低丢包环境下性能较好,但不适合高丢包率环境。文章提出了一种适用于无线Mesh网络的线性网络编码方法,并采用复合解码策略,能确保在高丢包的环境中极大地提高网络的吞吐量。通过NS2仿真证明了这种方法的有效性。 Using network coding to improve the throughput of wireless mesh networks has become a hot topic recently.The authors of [1] propose a MAC-layer proactive mixing protocol which adopts network coding in multi-hop wireless networks,referred to BEND,it adopts the XOR strategy,but it does a good job in light loss environment,on the contrary,in a heavy loss network,it doesn't work very well.We propose a method for linear network coding suitable for the wireless Mesh network.At the same time,we adopt a double-decoding method to decode the coded packets.And the encoding and decoding approaches can significantly improve the network throughput in heavy loss network.The availability of the method is simulated on the NS2.
