摘要
3D大地形模型在GIS系统、飞行模拟系统等领域有着广泛的应用。利用Mulgigen CTS构造良好的地形模型的要点取决于以下两个方面:一是为地形构建合适的细节层次(LOD);二是为模型制作系列配套的纹理图片。该文在研究LOD算法的基础上,阐述了利用CTS构造地形模型LOD结构、地形数据预处理、大地形纹理拼接等方法,并进行了实践。
Large 3D terrain models have been widely used in GIS systems, flight simulation systems and other fields. Well terrain models constructed by using Mulgigen CTS depends on the two following main aspects: The first is to build a appropriate LOD level of the terrain,the second is to make a set of good texture images of'the model.This paper describes the use of CTS constructed terrain model LOD, terrain data pre-processingl large terrain texture stitching and other methods based on the study of the LOD algorithm, and provides a ex- ample of terrain model then.
