基于嵌入式变换光学的光束偏折器

摘要 用嵌入式光学变换法设计了一种光束偏折器,可使光束的传播方向发生90°的偏转,当对介质中与TE波和TM波相关的光学参数分别设置时,这种器件可以实现偏振分离的功能,采用数值计算的方法对器件的光学特性进行了分析,计算结果表明这种器件的设计是可行的. A beam deflector is designed by embedded optical transformation. Propagation of incident beam was deflected 90 degrees by this element. With the material parameters associate with the TE and TM modes designed separately, the element acted as a polarization splitter, with good application prospect in the area of polarization interference, polarization measuring and polarization coding. Numerical calculation results show that this element is feasible.
