对应用型高校英语专业学生就业竞争力培养的几点思考

On Cultivating of English Majors' Employment Competitiveness in Application-oriented Universities

应用型本科院校的基本定位是服务地方经济、培养高级应用型人才。就目前这类高校英语专业毕业生的质量和学生的就业情况来看,毕业生的就业竞争力的培养有待加强。为此,必须进一步改进人才培养模式、加大课程体系建设力度,改革教学模式和手段,凸显人才培养特色。

Application-oriented Universities aim at cultivating applicative talents for the local development.But their graduates＇ employment competitiveness is badly in the need of being upgraded in view of the present barely satisfactory job-hunting competitiveness and employment status.So,it is necessary to reform the talent training mode and increase curriculum system construction force.Correspondingly,the teaching mode and means are also needed to be renovated when talent training characteristics are expected to be highlighted.
