摘要
拜伦在《恰罗德·哈洛尔德游记》中,借助诗性的游记这种独特的形式和双重主人公并存的叙事策略,成功地将连续性的时间意识和片断性的空间感知融为一体,把早年对东方的空间想像变成了实实在在的身体—话语实践,将一次贵族式的大陆旅游变成了一次真正意义上的自我追寻和精神朝圣之旅。全诗从多个方面反映了诗人在从中心到边缘、现代到中古的旅行过程中遭遇的身份认同困境,以及时空感知模式从水平移动到垂直提升的过程,显示了旅行—写作这种独特的身体—话语实践在建构诗人的主体意识,促进诗人人格成长中发挥的独特功能。
In his Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage,Lord Byron,with the unique genre of poetic travelogue and the narrative strategy of dual-heroes coexistence,fused together successional time consciousness and fragmented space perception,making his early oriental imagination become a body-discourse practice,and an aristocratic grand tour become a real self-search and a pilgrimage.The long poem reflects in multi-aspects the poet’s crisis of identification in his travel from centre to margin,and from modern to mediaeval age,and the process of time-space perception from level shift to steeplifting,displaying the distinctive function of travel-writing as a special body-discourse practice to build the poet’s subject consciousness and to promote his personality.
