摘要
衔接是语篇的重要组成部分,是实现语篇连贯性的重要手段,而词汇衔接被认为是语篇衔接的最重要手段之一。根据Halliday和Hasan的词汇衔接理论,英语语篇的词汇衔接手段分为两大类。本文主要从复现关系和同现关系两方面探讨词汇衔接手段的语篇功能。
Lexical cohesion is considered as one of the most important devices of textual cohesion. According to the lexical cohesion theory of Halliday and Hason, the lexical cohesive devices in English are composed of two categories. This paper discusses the textual function of lexical cohesive devices in English from two aspects of reiteration and collocation.
