试论藏彝走廊“夷”类人群入唐后的去向问题

An Attempt Discussing About the Whereabouts Issue of "Yi" Ethnic Groups in Zang-Yi Corridor into Tang Dynasty

"夷"是唐以前藏彝走廊地区分布十分广泛的一个人群类别,但在记载唐代史实的汉文史籍中却已基本不见称"夷"的人群。通过对史料的梳理与分析,指出"夷"入唐后主要有两种去向:一为吐蕃征服并统治;一是原先称"夷"的人群在唐代被转称作"蛮"。文章同时对"夷"在唐代被转称为"蛮"的背景进行了讨论,认为唐人的民族观及对藏彝走廊地区人群的分类标准与汉晋相比已发生较大转变。

＂Yi＂was an ethnical title which was widely distributed in Zang-Yi Corridor,but they had been disappeared wholly in the Chinese historical literature which recorded the history of Tang dynasty.The article points that ＂Yi＂ethnic groups had two whereabouts into Tang dynasty from analyzing the Chinese historical literature： on the one hand,they were conquered by ＂To-bo＂;on the other hand,they had switched to called ＂Man＂.On the same time,the author discusses the background of ethnical groups＇name change from＂Yi＂to＂Man＂,and points that the views of nationality of Tang dynasty and the classification of ethnic groups in Zang-Yi Corridor had largely changed which compared with Han and Jin dynasty.
