电话与傣族恋爱方式变迁——非媒介中心视角下田野资料的描述和阐释

Telephone and the Courtship Changes among Dai People:A Description and Interpretation of Fieldwork from a Non-media Centric Angle

从非媒介中心视角出发,运用民族志方法对傣族恋爱方式变迁过程中的电话使用及其意义进行实地考察之后发现:电话与恋爱方式变迁并非是简单的前者影响后者的因果关系,电话构筑当地恋爱方式变迁,反过来恋爱方式变迁也对电话使用进行本土性塑形;电话在当地恋爱生活中的使用,具有家庭地位、个人身份以及社会性别等方面的本土特征和象征意义;电话使用的某些变化,也反映了恋爱方式被媒介化以及媒介被生活化的过程。

From a non-media centric angle, the application of telephone and its significance in courtship change among Dai people are investigated on the spot by using the way of ethnographic practice. The result shows that it＇s not a simple cause and effect relation between them. Telephone constructs the change of love and conversely, the change of love forms the native character of telephone application. Telephone application in the local love life has the native character and symbol significance of family position, personal status and social gender. Some changes of telephone reflect the process that the way of love is influenced by telephone while medium is changed by life.
