摘要
在当今西方思想界,怀特海过程思想的追随者们非常活跃,他们以过程思想为基点,为人们讨论研究传统的科学与宗教关系问题提供了一种崭新的维度。过程思想的基点是对"在"的古老而又崭新的理解,以流变的、不断实现的"实有"代替传统的固定不变的"实体",终极的范畴的转变从根本上转换了讨论科学与宗教关系问题的角度。怀特海之后,怀特海主义者对科学与宗教问题的解决主要可以分为五种类型,当代过程思想学派对这个问题的研究的深度和广度已经有力地推动了整个科学与宗教领域的发展。
Following Whitehead's process thought, the contemporary Whiteheadians discuss the science-religion relation in a new context of process categories. The principle of Whitehead's thought is new understanding on "being"; Whitehead adopted "actual entity" to replace traditional changeless "substance", and this transformation in fundamental category also essentially shifts the discussion on science-religion relation. After Whitehead, based on different problem-fields that Whiteheadians focus on, they can be divided into three types: (1) People who adopt Christian natural theology inherit the concept of God from Whitehead's legacy, they focuses on the issue of God, namely the original actual entitys (2) People who hold critical realism have the closer relation with the category of actual entity, fan Barbour focuses on the issue of possibility; (3) People who prefer process evolution tend to interact with the creativity in Whitehead^s the category of the ultimate, Cobb focuses on the evolution of organism, Griffin on theistic naturalism, Clayton on the issue of emerged essence in science-religion relation; (4) People who use creative mutual interaction believe that the methodology of prebend is helpful, Robert Russell focuses on the issue of interaction in science-religion relation; (5) People who support constructive postmodernism propose diatogue between science and religion. In a word, the process school's research has vigorously promotes the development of the whole science-religion field.
